You've done your nails but have no time to wait for them to dry, right? Well, the answer for me is the "Out the Door" topcoat. I had tried the "Sinful Nails" quick drying top coat a long time ago and was very pleased, but I wanted something that also seemed to protect my nails a bit more (since the Sinful Nails one was pretty thin).
I read reviews, and it seemed like many people liked "Out the Door." I saw it at my local CVS, but they usually had all of one bottle on the shelf -- or none. Come to find out, Sally Beauty Supply stocks it (both in the size pictured above and in larger bottles). So, I am set. I go to Sally when it's time to re-stock.
Pros: This top coat really does dry your nails quickly. I would give it a good, full 60 seconds at least, though. Smudges are also easy to smooth out if you happen to get too anxious to see if it's dry or bump your nail by accident. Another thing I discovered is that if you put on one coat, let it dry completely, and then put on another, your nails will be super glossy -- almost like a gel! They will also remain un-chipped for at least a week. So, if you have the time and really like your manicure, go for two coats of this!
Cons: It can smell pretty strong and certainly won't last forever. I also found that it can smear colored polish underneath (maybe if that polish is not 100% dry?), so I put one plain clear coat (of any brand) on before using this.
All in all, i would say go for it. This is the best quick-drying top coat I've found!
